In recent years, the two countries conducted frequent and comprehensive exchanges in the political, economic and cultural fields. The SAIs of the two countries as well maintained traditionally friendly and cooperative relations, and coordinated and cooperated with each other with the same stand within the INTOSAI and ASOSAI. Currently, both China and Korea are facing the international economic crisis and the tasks of safeguarding economic security, promoting anti-corruption, improving people’s livelihood, protecting environment and resources, and building up efficient and clean government under the rule of law. The SAIs can play an active role in the above-mentioned respects by boosting their capacity building, said Mr. Liu. The CNAO is willing to enhance bilateral cooperation with Korea’s Board of Audit and Inspection, and to work together to push forward the development of auditing, he added.
